Have heard good things about the variety of a place called Torchys’s from Texas. Can it compete with the Qdobas and the Chiptoles Denver is synonymous with? I hope so. Getting tired of all the same old same old. Can’t wait to try it out!

Torchy’s Tacos on Broadway is finally starting to look like a restaurant. While the company had originally planned to open in 2015, construction and permitting delays have pushed out the timeline. But a date has been set and Torchy’s will open on January 12. To help get Denver in the spirit, the sign on the north side of the building has been lit as a kind of visual Pavlov’s bell to get Broadway drivers and pedestrians drooling.
